  1. got a quick question about this one. It says there are no ocatve switch boutons. so how do you play a c0 for example ?

  2. @2keys It’s a midi controller meaning that you can connect it to other midi in devices and you can use it (like a hardware synth or module). VMK has NO onboard sounds. It’s just a midi controller. These are 30 user presets.

  3. Hi thanks for the nice vid and smooth playing. I want to ask you if this board can play without the computer? I mean does the 30 user sounds stay on the board so you can gig without the computer?

  4. @jollen123 You can connect it through usb or midi. After connecting select the appropriate midi port from you DAW settings.

  5. I would so love to see how you’ve configured the keyboard with your computer, I can’t seem to get it to work!

  6. @Mausr As long as the vst support this yes you can. I do that in reason by assigning two of the buttons to “Preset up” and Preset Down” commands by mini learning. Hope that helps!

  7. Can you scroll through the software presets using the VMK?

  8. @djdbefekt Yeah it’s fantastic midi controller!

  9. I’m in love…..

  10. @kc2ine The VMK 161 Plus is approximately 15 Kg (33 lbs). It has a great piano feeling. And it has a lot of knobs and sliders for controlling a VST instrument. Thank you for watching and I’m glad you liked it!

  11. Hi, isn’t it too heavy for carrying around though? especially that hammer action version? Great video BTW, I’m interested in getting one. Dream come true for a piano player :)

  12. @ahabadong Sorry, I ‘ve never tried a Roland RD Keyboard. Thanks for watching!

  13. I’ve bee reading reviews regarding the hammer actions of some midi controller. The Fatar seems to be on the upper hand. Here’s my studid question in search for the best midi controller: How’s the feel of this keyboard compared to playing Roland RD keys?

  14. @Malteboy777 VMK-161 has hammer action (piano feeling). Check the organ version too. I believe you have to try them both and choose what you think is best for you.

  15. @manolismoumouzias Seriously? .. Well I’m still in wildness about this, if I should get the regular + or the + Organ version? =) I’m gonna be recording drums, bass, piano, synths, etc. what ever I need in my songs through it.. Is it very light to play on? Or does it restrict a bit when pressing the keys? Cause I woulden’t like the serious piano hammer feel to it, I believe =) .. Recording drums and such! =P

  16. @Malteboy777 Thank you very much for your comment! Glad my review is helpful. You won’t regret it! The keyboard’s graded hammer action is amazing! You gonna have lots of fun with this midi controller!

  17. I’m so getting one..! Your review was just what I needed! ^_^ So psyked about it!

  18. @uservinc The price doesn’t differ to much, go for the 88 keys if you can afford the small extra cost, better second hand value also.

  19. can I sample this?

  20. @uservinc Thanks, glad you liked it. The VMK 161 Plus is approximately 15 Kg.

  21. Hi,
