Why is it that people have such a bad view on network marketing?

I just don’t get it. If you actually LOOK at what you are doing/getting into some are great ways to make money.
why? Because it was started [Amway] with faulty premises
and it was sued out of the nation and is now in Canada under
a new name.
MLM which is actually MLD, operates on false premises and
99% of them break the law by focusing on recruiting new
distributors [illegal without a license by the state to recruit]
at least 15 federal and state law suits have knocked most of the
original MLM/Ds out of biz but those who fee they have
a new way to run this type of biz, start a new one.
they are intrusive,
they impose on their neighbors
they lie [when asked if they are MLM/D, they say no until they are caught.
NON MLM/D creators are people trying to evade the laws and
trying to offer something innovative when it fact, their
differece is a smoke screen.
I have challenged 15 of them and not one would be willing to volunteer that they are not violating the recruiting law or are they
selling something that is not party oriented or misleading.
the winners of MLM/D are the founders.
I once audited an MLM/D 5th level distributor who thought she
was netting 50k a year. She was netting 15ki and lost her
home.
THE 2nd or 3rd biggest con is “we don’t do things like that”
when asked about expenses……..they don’t allow for
insurance, transportation, advertising etc, which reduces their
net. The average MLM/D distributor who does not violate the
law [few of them[ net $3.50 an hour.
I am so glad that my network marketing company is a legitimate company with a star record with the Better Business Bureau, and it is not an MLM. I love my job and I make good money. I haven’t seen any of the things that you have mentioned, Kemperk. We are not intrusive. We do not impose on our neighbors. We are not an MLM and we can prove it. And we do not use smoke screens. Also, we do have employee insurance and other benefits. This company has been around for decades. I love this company, the people I work with, and the products and services I receive from the company. I enjoy knowing that I am making other people’s lives better. I am glad I am not with Amway…they sound bad.
Network Marketing does have a lot of people that just take advantage of those who are in need. In Multi Level Marketing the only people who make any money are those who start the company and is illegal in many states.
